Q.  How will people find my site?
 
A.  Promotion by you, search engine submissions, directory listings and links from other sites will all be part of marketing your site.  You can find more promotional information here.

Q.  How can I register www.mybusiness.com?
 
A.  Domain names registered start at $35 a year through NetSolutions.com.  This is billed directly to you.  The name you'd like to use is often apparent.  It may not be available, or a different name may be better for marketing your site.  I'll help you with this and get your name registered.  I don't charge a fee for this; it simply makes the process of building your web site easier for you and me.

Q.  How long will it take to get my site up?

A.  This can be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.  It depends on other projects that are scheduled, how quickly you provide information, how much information is provided, and how large the site will be.  It is possible that I might be able to put together a large site in a very short amount of time, if there is a valid reason for the urgency.  I can normally get a basic site up within a week.  Projects reserved for a specified time frame always take priority.

Q.  What do you need to start on my site?

A.  If you have an Internet Service Provider who also offers virtual server capabilities all you need to do is call them arrange for the service. If your ISP does not offer this service I can refer you to one who does. The cost is usually not any more than what you are paying now for your normal ISP service, but may vary with each provider.   

Photos, logos, brochures, text... some kind of information!  Standard down payment is 50% of the total fee.  The balance is due within 10 days of completion of the site, with few exceptions.  Down payment is non-refundable after I have begun work on the site.  Cash, checks and money orders are accepted.
